Slip Resistance
The carborundum inserts have a mean wet slip resistance value (SRV) of 85 and a slip resistance classification of P5.
Luminance Contrast
As part of the NCC volume 1 stair nosing’s are required to have a 30% luminance contrast between the surface and the stair
nosing insert. The light reflectance value (LRV) of the Architect Grip Range have been tested in accordance with
AS1428.1-2009 Appendix B and the results are as follows:

Wet Conditions: 37.36
Yellow insert
Dry Conditions: 48.39
